Bodega Dominio Buenavista in Ugíjar
Guests of ´El Paraje´ have so far been able to choose between a variety of local wines, mainly from the Cádiar area. Today we visited the bodega Dominio Buenavista in Ugíjar. This winery brought new grape varietals to the area and has been making excellent wines for ten years. We decided to include their red Cabarnet Sauvignon, their white Chardonnay and their cava rosado to our list. Some of the Veleta wines from Dominio Buenavista have been awarded medals in Spain, as well as in the United States. The winery is open to the public every day. Apart from making wine, Dominio Buenavista offers other products as well, like shery vinegar and olive oil. Their extra virgin olive oil, made with ´Lechín olives´, is of an exceptionally good quality.
